Seemingly she was utterly alone as those surrounding her never
shared a true commonality of thought. Seemingly she would never find another
individual quite like herself within the world she walked. She seemed to walk
this world void of connection to the people surrounding her whom consistently
stayed just out of arms reach. Not purposely, she viewed those around her as
a passerby stream, each individual partially a part of her world and partially
out the door heading for another. To her it seemed not one would ever walk alongside her. Seemingly she was consistently
and casually looking around as if something was amiss, something was off,
something didn't quite fit. Seemingly she was always slightly adrift, always
slightly off balance with the spinning dance of those walking around
her.
Where once she thought these people were real, seemingly more and
more they became like toys among her. As she watched them build lives something
quite different than she could apply to the world in which she walked, she
noticed that all of those surrounding her sought after a toy-like factory life
that to her seemed would never be enough. Seemingly alone, she saw them
building lives in what she always believed seemed to be a temporary home.
Seemingly she was utterly alone. As she passed glances of shallow gazes, she
always seemed to be searching for someone somewhere with a much deeper stare.
Seemingly she always had a thought balled up in her throat,
beckoning to find its way into the air. It seemed to be that she never had the
words to connect her spirit to her voice. There only seemed to be a knock on
her lips, a whisper from within, “There must be something more.” Sifting
through the hollow stares, seeking and searching something or someone that
should have been there, still it appeared to be that seemingly she was utterly
alone.
Through her ever-growing frantic seeking, it seemed she was unaware of His heart beating through the air.
Too busy searching shallow eyes for deeper stares, seemingly she was lost on
the fact that He was always there. It seemed to be that He was speaking into
her ear, attempting to guide her eyes to the One who would forever walk alongside her. And doesn't the expression seem to be... “Nothing
is ever quite what it seems.” Just as she thought once and for all, 'It seems I will forever be utterly alone,' she felt His loving arms come around her. Seemingly He
was bringing her home.
